NURS 3101 - Transition into Professional Nursing

This course is designed to build upon a solid liberal education base, previous nursing knowledge and skills obtained at the Associate Nursing degree level. This course will focus on nursing theory, the role of evidence-based practice in nursing. This course will investigate nursing professional roles as advocates for the patient and the profession, inter-professional team member; critical analysis of national and global socio-political, economic, cultural, ethical-legal, professional certification and professional issues affecting nursing practice and health care.
